- Conduct studies and researches to solve the problems of the sector and trace for cost-effective technologies enabling and benefiting the society through providing access to research results and suitable technologies.
- Conducting an impact survey on research and technology disseminated and transfer to the users by continuation or modification.
- Identifying technologies to fill specific gaps in the water sector and related issues by generating and identifying technologies as well as importing and adapting them to address communities.
- Expanding low-cost water technologies through household self-supply water schemes for the community,
- Gather, document, and disseminate research and research results on water and related issues conducted locally and abroad, as well as international technological information to build and coordinate information and communication systems for necessary purposes.
